Earache Records — which has been pioneering extreme metal for over 20 years — is proud to sponsor Dan Hardy, a self-professed metal fan who hails from Earache's hometown of Nottingham and is taking extreme fighting to the next level as he enters his third UFC event.
Dan Hardy comments on the sponsorship: "I'm really excited to be with Earache Records! I have been listening to bands on their label since I was in my teens and to now be working with them is great. I think both parties will benefit from the collaboration."
This isn't the first time that Earache Records has tied in with fighters. In 1999, Earache teamed up with the ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) to release the "ECW Extreme Music" compilation, featuring such knockout bands as MOTÖRHEAD, MEGADETH, ANTHRAX and more. ADEMA's 2004 Earache release, "Planets", also included guest vocals from mixed martial artist Ralek Gracie.
